What's our next move?

There's no way we can build a party in less than two weeks that can defeat the Democratic Party OR the Republican party. That being the case (if I'm correct) it falls to us to do as much as we can to limit the damage that will be done to the country in the next four years. As poor a choice as McCain is, I think it is indisputable that Obama presents the greater danger. If he is elected he may have a veto-proof Congress too. That will enable him to change things in ways that make it virtually impossible to mount a third party challenge - or even build a third party. Furthermore, the changes he gets made may be politically impossible to repeal.

However (comma), we CAN build a strong third party in four years. I think that should be our next move, and we should start with the Constitution Party. First WE register with the Constitution Party, then we start pulling new registrations from the Democratic and Republican parties, and from Independant Voters who have no party affiliation. Why the Constitution Party? Because the Constitution of the United States is the bedrock upon which our country was built and it's a strong foundation. The name of the party alone will attract voters who will be able to see clearly that the Democratic and Republican parties operate outside the Constitution (because we will show them). The Constitution Party is already established and has history in prior elections. The Libertarian party is also, but I have problems with their platform/principles.

According to Ballot Access News, as of early 2008 membership in the following parties was:
Democratic Party..........39,139,653
Republican Party..........29,955,197
Independant Voters........23,315,495
Constitution Party...........384,722
Green Party..................261,754
Libertarian Party............225,529

If we can get 15% of the Democrats (there are some who still believe in the Constitution) that would be 5.87M.
The Republican party is more difficult, I think 40% to 60%... compromise at 50%... 15M, that gets us to 20.87M.

Of the Independants, maybe 50%, which is 11.6M, bringing us to 32.47M. That brings us to within striking distance.

We can count on all of the Constitution Party, but I can't make an estimate of how much support we might get from the Green or Libertarian parties.

If you haven't figured it out already, my estimates are just guesses, based on 61 years (since birth) of experience and observation and not much else. It would be nice to have better numbers if anyone has any.

Some registered voters will not vote for various reasons. Some voters will not be members of any party. It will be up to us to motivate those non-voting registered voters to vote and the others to register with the Constitution Party. How do we raise money to do that? We don't. We get thousands, then hundreds of thousands, then millions of members of the Constitution Party to take individual actions to motivate voters. For example, it is pretty expensive for an organization to get one million flyers printed, then they have to be shipped around the country. If we get five thousand members to print two hundred flyers each, it spreads the cost around. A ream of paper contains 250 sheets and can cost less than four dollars at a local store.

How do we get people to do those kinds of things? Well, how about we make it personal for them. People will willingly do what is in their own best interest. We must educate and train people so that they know what has been going on in their government. We must make them understand their responsibilities to monitor and control the elected and appointed officals who work for them.

We're in BIG trouble!

Have you seen The Money Masters web site? I just found their web site, they support a Monetary Reform Act which would eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank and put the Treasury Department back in charge of printing money (United States Treasury currency instead of Federal Reserve Notes). Watch The FED video and Tell 300 Million People at YouTube.

I think you will find this interesting. I did. My imagination can't even stretch around it.

Short version: If you control the money supply, you control the country no matter who is elected to the government. The Federal Reserve Bank (FED - common useage) controls the money supply for the United States. It is an independant bank, not a part of the U.S. government like the Treasury is.

Every Federal Reserve Note (U.S. currency) is a loan certificate for money borrowed from the FED. The FED prints our currency then LENDS it to the Treasury. AND charges interest on it (the prime rate?) until it is returned! Right now we are paying $400BILLION each year in interest charged to use Federal Reserve Notes for our currency.

WHY? It's TOTALLY unnecessary! The U.S. Treasury can print U.S. Treasury Notes and put them in circulation to replace an equal number of Federal Reserve Notes, then return those FED notes. We could replace ALL FED notes with Treasury notes in ONE year! Just think about it: eliminate that part of the National Debt represented by the FED Reserve Notes in circulation (all of it?), eliminate a $400Billion annual interest expense, and regain control of our economy AT THE SAME TIME! I've heard talk of injecting liquidity into the economy, there's a credit crunch, people and businesses can't get credit, the U.S. has a credit economy... isn't there a little too much credit involved here? I think we need to take away our government's credit card, close our FED account, and revert to a CASH economy.

I SUGGEST that the FED, NAFTA, SPP, North American Community/Union, and Amero are ALL TIED TOGETHER! The links are tenuous right now, but too many things are happening that complement each other for all of them to be purely coincidental.

More later...

Charles 'Chuck' Baldwin - Only a Miracle

I've been looking at the Constitution Party as a prospective new political home, since I can not stay with the Republican Party. The Constitution Party has selected Dr. Charles Baldwin as their candidate for the Presidency. Dr. Baldwin has a number of articles published at his web site, Chuck Baldwin Live , and I've been reading them. He isn't very impressed with John McCain, so he and I are in agreement so far.

"On many issues, there is virtually no distinction between John McCain and any potential Democratic candidate. John McCain is no friend to gun owners. He is no friend to pro-lifers. He is no friend to fiscal conservatives. He is no friend to property owners. He is no friend to "family values" voters. He is no friend to America's blue-collar workers. He is no friend to small business owners. He is no friend to opponents of illegal immigration.

On the other hand, John McCain is a great friend to Big Business. Similarly, he is a friend to Big Government and Big Brother. He is also a friend to open borders, supranational government, regionalism, and American imperialism."

Chuck also agrees with me (or is it I with him?) that McCain is the greater of the evils we have to choose from (provided by the two major parties), not the lesser.

"America is currently facing the most serious threat to its national independence and sovereignty since the War of 1812. The forces of globalism have declared an all-out war against our country's independence. Illegal immigration, the NAFTA superhighway, the North American Community, a regional currency called the Amero, and "free trade" deals are just a few of the weapons in their arsenal. And John McCain will use every bit of his power as President to facilitate all of this chicanery. And, because McCain is a Republican, conservatives and Christians will sit back and let it happen without even the slightest whimper of resistance. If Obama or Clinton were sitting in the Oval Office, however, massive numbers of conservatives and Christians would rise in protest over every inch of ground ceded to these nefarious nabobs. So, tell me, who is the greater evil? I say it is John McCain."

It sounds to me like he gets it. If you'll follow the link above and click on the seventh article in the list (Only A Miracle Can Save America Now) you can read the whole article I've quoted from above. Better yet, read them all so that you can get a good idea of where he is coming from. I'm very impressed, but I won't criticize anyone who disagrees with me. We each have the right to our own opinions.

Then consider this: There are currently 39,139,653 registered as Democrats, 29,955,197 registered as Republicans, 23,315,495 registered as Independants, and only 384,722 registered with the Constitution Party - even though it is the third largest party in the country. I think we can take 10 to 15% of the Democrats, 50 or 60% (and maybe as much as 85%) of the Republicans, and as much as 85% of the Independants; that is, get them to join the Constitution Party and vote for its candidate, Chuck Baldwin. That would bring the Constitution Party up to the size of the Democratic Party and make the Republican Party into a permanent minority party. Would it be easy? Of course not. Can we do it? Absolutely! How? That's a good subject for a future article.

Anarchy Prevails!

I propose that the Rule of Law no longer exists in the United States and that a state of Anarchy prevails. In support of that I can point to several examples.

There are estimated to be 12 to 20 million people of various nationalities in the United States in open violation of U.S. immigration laws. They have no fear of the laws being enforced, witness the demonstrations of a thousand or more of them demanding the privileges of citizenship. Some of them use fraudulent identification to apply for jobs or government assistance for themselves and their families. Thousands of businesses employ them in violation of the law and some additionally harbor them (a felony on the first offense) or transport them (also a felony on the first offense). These things by themselves are strongly indicative of a state of anarchy.

Now consider the Congress of the United States (both houses) and the Executive Department of the United States... by their lack of action to enforce the laws of the Unites States they have perjured their oath of office. They have sworn to uphold the laws of the United States and have failed to do so. They are complicit before the fact in every crime committed by a person who is inside the United States illegally because they failed to correct the conditions which allowed those illegal aliens to be present in the U.S. to commit those crimes. That is to say that the crimes committed by illegal aliens could not have happened if those illegal aliens were not in the U.S. to begin with. By the way, the maximum penalty for a U.S. citizen who harbors an illegal alien who subsequently causes the death of another U.S. citizen is imprisonment for any period up to life or the death penalty. It's about time we started holding our government officials accountable for their actions or lack of action. Our problem is that it is the responsibility of the Justice Department to investigate and prosecute such crimes, the Justice Department works for the President of the United States (through the Attorney General), and the President does not want those crimes prosecuted! He wants Border Patrol agents prosecuted for shooting an escaping illegal alien felon in the ass (who has just brought $1 million worth of drugs into the U.S.) though.

More to add, will come back later, RHB

E-Mail to Bill O'Reilly

Why bring up Obama's 'One World' (Economy) sympathies now? It's not like it's news, you know. Just like Bill and Hillary Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Condelezze Rice, Colin Powell, and oh, yes, let's not forget about George Soros and his contributions to John McCain's campaign (via Teresa Kerry's Tide(s?) Foundation). You know, the people who are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Yes, the same CFR of which Newscorp is a corporate member.

Of course, you know all that... unless you're the dumbest person on television. The names of many of the CFR's members are available from their website, including corporate members like NBC (through parent corp), ABC, CNN (through parent corp), Fox News (through Newscorp), and many, MANY, others. The names of individuals not on the website are available for the asking.

Let's not even talk about the Trilateral Commission, and where it came from.

(signed)

You don't need a global government if you have a global economy. Those who control a global economy control all governments.

You don't need a conspiracy to control a global economy, the international corporations will do what's in their best interest and control the global economy to do it. What's in their best interest is a smoothly running profitable global economy.

Remove the plank from your own eyes before you try to remove the speck from mine.

I don't know why I even bother...

This is Amnesty:

The following is the section from the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (Scamnesty) that implements amnesty:

S 1639 PCS 644

‘‘(8) TEMPORARY STAY OF REMOVAL AND WORK

AUTHORIZATION FOR CERTAIN APPLICANTS.—
‘‘(A) BEFORE APPLICATION PERIOD.—Beginning on the date of enactment of the AgJOBS Act of 2007, the Secretary shall provide that, in the case of an alien who is apprehended prior to the first date of the application period described in subsection (c)(1)(B) and who can establish a non-frivolous case of eligibility for a Z–A visa (but for the fact that the alien may not apply for such status until the beginning of such period), the alien—

‘‘(i) may not be removed; and

‘‘(ii) shall be granted authorization to engage in employment in the United States and be provided an employment authorized endorsement or other appropriate work permit for such purpose.

‘‘(B) DURING APPLICATION PERIOD.—The
Secretary shall provide that, in the case of an alien who presents a non-frivolous application for Z–A visa during the application period described in subsection (c)(1)(B), including an alien who files such an application within 30 days of the alien’s apprehension, and until a final determination on the application has been made in accordance with this section, the alien—

‘‘(i) may not be removed; and

‘‘(ii) shall be granted authorization to engage in employment in the United States and be provided an employment authorized endorsement or other appropriate work permit for such purpose.

I've reformatted it so it will wrap to the web page window but I haven't changed any of the wording.

NOTES:

The above text is an amendment to United States Code Title 8 (available as a 505 page 2.41MB download), not a new law.

I consider the documentation requirements to support a "not-trivial" application to be trivial and easily forged.

Once an illegal alien has a work permit (and a Social Security card, since they can't work without one) there is no way to ensure that they will ever return to pay fines or complete their application for permission to stay legally.

The government can't stop convicted felons from re-entering the country and committing more crimes now, there is no reason to believe they will be able to do so in the future.

Pro-Life

There may be as many different definitions of "Pro-Life" and "Pro-Choice" as there are people using one of those labels for themselves or others. Mine is just like anyone else's, unique and totally mine in spite of any resemblance to anyone else's. I do not seek to change, or even challenge, anyone else's beliefs but only to describe mine so that if, in the future, it comes up in discussion you'll know why I say what I do.
IMAO, both sperm and egg are alive prior to fertilization of an egg, but each contains only half the DNA required to define a human. The point of that is, that there is no point at which life begins - life is already there. AFTER fertilization, the egg contains all the DNA required, and is a human being. We recognize infancy, adolescence, and adulthood as stages of growth of a person, to not recognize the period of growth from fertilization of the egg to birth as a similar stage of growth is illogical at best. The egg may be part of the mother until she ovulates and releases it, but after that it is independent of her and can even be fertilized then implanted in a different woman and survive to birth. Also, to consider a baby part of the mother because it is Dependant on her is like considering a child part of the Department of Education if they qualify for free lunches at school. Tell me, does the mother's blood circulate in the fetus?
Having said all that, I do NOT think that issues like Pro-Life/Choice are within the domain of the Federal Government's delegated authority. In fact, I believe that those issues are specifically prohibited to the Federal Government in the First Amendment where it is prohibited from establishing a State Church and thereby a State definition of morality and/or religion. That's state in the sense that countries are states.
I may expand on this at a later date and consider the term 'state' as one of the several states of the United States, but for now I'll close with a question.
Why is it that if a woman decides to abort her pregnancy and the fetus/baby dies it isn't even a crime, but if someone kills her and consequently the fetus/baby dies the killer's punishment can be elevated from a prison sentence to the death penalty?

Conservatives need to organize

I'm sick of PC non-action! Fortunately, I've been shown a way to correct that problem. First, we have to identify the problem, and the problem is us. We are still too fractured, which limits our effectiveness when we try to influence our legislators. We can fix that.

Keep in mind that we have already proved that we can be effective. We killed the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act TWICE! We killed the DREAM Act and the AgJOBS Act. We showed our legislators and ourselves where the real power lies in our country. Now it's time to formalize it.

Someone else posted a link to something called the Bonn Temporary Amnesty Initiative, also called the Safe America Act. Mr. Bonn has drafted a bill which can get all the illegal aliens out of the country in 16 months! I've read it and it looks like it should work.

Someone else posted a response saying that it was amnesty and there was no way they could support it. Well, that piqued my interest enough to cause me to take the link and read more. The BTAI/Safe America Act does contain amnesty, but only to the extent of immunity from prosecution for immigration-related offenses. It does not provide ANY path to citizenship, those who wish to return must go to the back of the line and apply for a visa just like everyone else.

BTAI uses the carrot and stick approach to get them to volunteer to leave. The carrot is essentially a bribe - and ATM card with $1000 for an adult or $600 for a child, that they get when they return to their home country. They can't just go home, get the card, and come back because they get it in 12 deposits to their card account over a year's time. That's a lot of money when applied to all the illegal aliens in the country, but it's still less than it would cost us for them to stay in the country for another year or two. The stick is that if they are still in the country when the program ends they are automatically classified as Class 1 Felons and will be considered to be terrorists. Every law enforcement agency in the country will be used to hunt and capture them. Even the National Guard and the military (under civilian control) will be used.

That should be enough to get any patriotic American interested enough to take the following link and check it out for themselves. PLEASE look at it, then download the PDF file and read the whole bill. It is very detailed, including humanitarian issues.

The Patriot Union of America

Every special interest group (SIG) in the country has its own political action committee (PAC). They use those PACs to get laws passed that favor their interests. It's time we had one of our own, a patriot action committee... or perhaps a Patriot Union of America. We used ALIPAC, Grassfire, NumbersUSA, Public Citizen, Townhall and others to good effect but we can be much more effective if we organize better. We need to make our legislators understand that we are watching everything they do, not just immigration. We can clean out DC if we concentrate our efforts and combine our voices better. "Hold their feet to the fire" has never been a more appropriate phrase.
If the Congress of the United States (both houses) will not represent us and our States, it's time we formed an organization for ourselves. After all, we are the largest special interest group.

While you're at it, click on the link to the left (in Blogroll) for The Constitution Party and maybe you will find, like I have, where you were supposed to be all along.

Conspiracy theory

The immigration problem, as big as it is, is only part of a bigger problem. The bigger problem is international trade, or rather, what the international traders will do to maximize their profits.

Here it started with NAFTA and continues with the SPP - Security and Prosperity Partnership. They will morph into a North American Community, and that will eventually become the North American Union. That is exactly how the Eureopean Union was developed.

Then there is the Law of the Sea treaty, which the Senate is inclined to ratify and the President has already stated he will sign.

With each step along the way a little more of the Sovereignty of the United States will be eroded away. Think it can't happen?

Then ask yourself how Mexico can interfere with the execution of a Mexican national in Texas? President Bush directed that his case be "reviewed" because he hadn't been advised that he could seek help from the Mexican Consulate. What standing does a Mexican Consulate have in a Texas court?

There may be specific reasons for allowing illegal immigration and the subsequent strain on the U.S. economy.

At least three of the top four Republican presidential candidates and three of the top four Democrats, plus more than three of the top Bush Admin officials are reported to be members of the same international business organization. The source of that may not be very reliable, but we should be VERY wary on the off chance that it is correct.

Why aren't Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo getting more press coverage? They both have some interesting positions on important issues. They both have positions which contradict the front-runners on important issues.

I'm not sure, now, that things are much different than they would have been if Kerry had been elected. I'm not sure things will be much different if Hillary is elected. Two or three more months and we won't be able to tell the parties apart.

Sure, there will be a lot of dirt-throwing and squabbling, but after the election not much will change if any of the front runners are elected.

One of them WILL be elected if we don't short-circuit them in the primary elections. To do that, we need to come together on ONE candidate to overcome the big money donations of the 'big guys'.
