Tea Party vs. Sit-Down Strike

I am glad to see the Tea Party movement get started. I think it will be somewhat effective, but it doesn't have any force to it. That is, it makes our opinions visible, but can still be easily ignored.

I hereby propose a kind of sit-down strike that has force behind it. It is something our government can NOT ignore because it hits them in their (in their opinion, actually it's our) pocketbook. The drawback is that it takes a very large number of people participating to be effective - millions of people. A mitigating factor is that it doesn't have to go on for a very long time. One day might be sufficient.

Suppose we just stay home from shopping for one whole day. Those who can afford it also stay home from work. Those with businesses who can afford to give their employees a paid day off, don't open for business that day. Don't go anywhere, in our cars, on foot, on a bicycle, by public transportation, or by any other means. Shut the whole country down for one day. Think about it, one day's tax revenue at all levels of government is a tremendous amount of money! It will work but it will take a lot of work from a lot of people to make it work. Money talks, bullshit walks. The power of the people is not in their voices, it's in their wallets.

Please post comments, link to this artlcle, send it by email to others, spread it around. I'm making a snowball at the top of a hill, help me make it big and push it off the hill. When it rolls down the hill it will get bigger and bigger until it is so big it becomes an irresistable force. We will find out what happens when an irresistable force meets an immovable object (our U.S. Congress). It should be interesting.

We live in interesting times. Unfortunately, that's an old Chinese curse.

Rickey's resources

I found several videos and other documents which I'm going to make available for downloading. Please note that you can not just click on a video file and watch it in your browser. That works with youTube and other videos because the web page you go to contains an embedded video player. The recommendations I make below work on my Windows XP operating system and Internet Explorer browser. If you are using some other operating system or browser you probably already know how to do the same things. Most of you using the same OS and browser also know how, the recommendations are for anyone who may not know.

I have provided a stand-alone flash video player named flvplayer_8853.exe which I use regularly. It is used only to watch Flash Video (.flv) and Shockwave Flash (.swf) video files. I didn't write that program, it's just the first one I found that worked reliably and doesn't appear to do anything it's not supposed to do. If your browser will not allow you to download a file with the extention .exe, just download the .zip file (flvplayer_8853.zip) and uncompress (extract) it. I recommend you extract it to "C:\Program Files" so that it will show up in your list of programs when you click Start- All Programs and be easy to find.

Whether you download flvplayer or have your own player for Flash Videos you still probably won't be able to watch the videos in your browser. That's ok, you can download them to your computer then watch them from there. There is a total right now of 3.51 gigabytes of video and document files there so you probably don't want all of them. If you click on the Resources link at the end of this essay you will see a list of file and folder names. The file names have a number to the left of them that is the size of the file. The folder names have <dir> where the file size should be. You can click the left mouse button (left-click) on a folder name and see what videos are there. You can also left-click on any file if the name ends in .txt and view it in your browser. You may be able to see a file ending in .doc or .rtf in your browser, but I can't guarantee that.

For video files and documents that your browser refuses to display you will need to download them to your computer. Just click the right mouse button (right-click) then move the cursor down to "Save Target As..." and click on it. That will bring up a standard "Save As" dialog box where you can choose a destination for the file. I recommend that you click on "My Documents" on the left side of the dialog box then click on "My Videos" or "My Downloaded Files" depending on if you're downloading a video or other type of file. When you have chosen a destination just click on the "Save As" button at the bottom of the dialog box. I make these recommendations so that the files end up in a place where you can easily find them and they don't clutter up your desktop.

I also suggest you left-click on `Downloading Instructions READ ME FIRST.txt where I've listed some of the most "interesting" files and included instructions similar to those above. Prepare to be extremely ticked-off and (I hope) highly motivated to get involved with re-establishing control of our government. That's the kind of HOPE and CHANGE I'm rooting for!

All that said, here's the link to my Resources. I would say "enjoy" but you're probably not going to enjoy the videos. You might find a couple of the documents humorous though. (I didn't write the humorous ones, they were sent to me in email.)

re: ALIPAC recent email

This is just an example of some of the issues that are important to me. I can provide many links and quotes that can show why it is important. The email I'm referencing links to  this article at Americans for Legal Immigration PAC. Mr. Gheen does make one mistake in his essay. He says that the U.S. has degenerated into a dictatorship (because the Executive and Legislative branches - especially their leaders - have assumed the role of ruler as opposed to Civil Servant) and dictatorship is the wrong term. Since our ??esteemed?? leaders regularly and consistently ignore the law themselves the correct term to describe our situation is ANARCHY. For example, the President issues Executive Orders which are blatantly UNconstitutional and the Congress fails to reject them.

ALL elected officials WORK FOR US so WE are responsible for what they do. That means it is OUR fault that they have brought our country to the place it is in now. I fear that there is no way to get our country back to the principles it was founded upon. Too many people are apathetic and ignorant to the point of illiteracy about what our government is doing. The government no longer listens to people who get on their soapbox. The political parties select candidates for our vote who support the same graft and corruption so the ballot box is no longer effective. That leaves only one box which can be successful, but our success with it has only been 50-50. It was successful in 1776 and unsuccessful in 1865. If we are forced to resort to that box (it's our last resort) the results will be catastrophic whether it is successful or not. I am, of course, referring to the ammunition box.

Considering the current state of the Union, that is not as far-fetched as it may sound. You may think it is, but that could be because you haven't seen the video clips I've seen, some recorded from CSPAN or CSPAN2. Maybe you haven't read some of the laws I've read, like the Emergency War Powers Act which has been changed to include National Emergencies as well as declared war. The President now has the authority to place U.S. Citizens in internment camps without charges or legal recourse if HE declares a national emergency. He can declare almost anything a national emergency.

Reply and ask questions if this interests you... otherwise, just bend over and put your head back in the sand.

What's our next move?

There's no way we can build a party in less than two weeks that can defeat the Democratic Party OR the Republican party. That being the case it falls to us to do as much as we can to limit the damage that will be done to the country in the next four years. As poor a choice as McCain is, I think it is indisputable that Obama presents the greater danger. If he is elected he may have a veto-proof Congress too. That will enable him to change things in ways that make it virtually impossible to mount a third party challenge - or even build a third party. Furthermore, the changes he gets made may be politically impossible to repeal.

However (comma), we CAN build a strong third party in four years. I think that should be our next move, and we should start with the Constitution Party. First WE register with the Constitution Party, then we start pulling new registrations from the Democratic and Republican parties, and from Independent Voters who have no party affiliation. Why the Constitution Party? Because the Constitution of the United States is the bedrock upon which our country was built and it's a strong foundation. The name of the party alone will attract voters who will be able to see clearly that the Democratic and Republican parties operate outside the Constitution (because we will show them). The Constitution Party is already established and has history in prior elections. The Libertarian party is also, but I have problems with their platform/principles.

According to Ballot Access News, as of early 2008 membership in the following parties was:
Democratic Party..........39,139,653
Republican Party..........29,955,197
Independent Voters........23,315,495
Constitution Party...........384,722
Green Party..................261,754
Libertarian Party............225,529

If we can get 15% of the Democrats (there are some who still believe in the Constitution) that would be 5.87M (as in million). The Republican party is more difficult, I think 40% to 60%... compromise at 50%... 15M, that gets us to 20.87M.

Of the Independants, maybe 50%, which is 11.6M, bringing us to 32.47M. That brings us to within striking distance, especially when the other parties shrink by the numbers the Constitution Party grows. We, the Sovereign Citizens of the United States, can restore rule of law under the Constitution to our nation.

We can count on all of the Constitution Party, but I can't make an estimate of how much support we might get from the Green or Libertarian parties. If you haven't figured it out already, my estimates are just guesses, based on 61 years (since birth) of experience and observation and not much else. It would be nice to have better numbers if anyone has any.

Some registered voters will not vote for various reasons. Some voters will not be members of any party. It will be up to us to motivate those non-voting registered voters to vote and the others to register with the Constitution Party. How do we raise money to do that? We don't. We get thousands, then hundreds of thousands, then millions of members of the Constitution Party to take individual actions to motivate voters. For example, it is pretty expensive for an organization to get one million fliers printed, then they have to be shipped around the country. If we get five thousand members to print two hundred fliers each, it spreads the cost around. A ream of paper contains 250 sheets and can cost less than four dollars at a local store.

How do we get people to do those kinds of things? Well, how about we make it personal for them. People will willingly do what is in their own best interest. We must educate and train people so that they know what has been going on in their name, in their government. We must make them understand their responsibilities to monitor and control the elected and appointed officials who work for them.

We've proved that we have the power to control them. Now we must exercise that power in order to satisfy our responsibilities as Sovereign Citizens of the United States. It only took a small fraction of the general population to cause the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act to be defeated in the Senate. It will be much harder the next time because there are more politicians in the Senate who are sympathetic to the special interest groups who want it passed. That means there must be more of us opposing the next attempt to give amnesty to foreign criminals who are present in our country illegally.

By "they" and "them" I mean to include you and me too.

We're in BIG trouble!

Have you seen The Money Masters web site? I just found it. They support a Monetary Reform Act which would eliminate the Federal Reserve Bank and put the Treasury Department back in charge of printing money (United States Treasury Notes instead of Federal Reserve Notes).

Watch The Money Masters video at YouTube.

I think you will find this interesting. I did. My imagination can't even stretch around it.

Short version: If you control the money supply you control the nation no matter who is elected to the government. The Federal Reserve Bank (FED - common useage) controls the money supply for the United States. It is an independant association of banks, not a part of the U.S. government like the U.S. Treasury. No treasury funds are appropriated by the Congress for the operation of the FED.

Every Federal Reserve Note (U.S. currency) is, in effect, a loan certificate for money borrowed from the FED. The Treasury prints our currency then SELLS it to the FED for the cost of printing! The FED then uses those Federal Reserve Notes to BUY U.S. Treasury Notes - some on the open market, some directly from the Treasury. The Treasury (that's US, folks!) pays interest on those Treasury Notes just like they would on a loan. In effect, the FED LENDS Federal Reserve Notes to the Treasury and collects interest on them at face value!. Right now we are paying $400BILLION each year in interest to use Federal Reserve Notes for our currency.

WHY? It's TOTALLY unnecessary! The U.S. Treasury can print U.S. Treasury Notes and put them in circulation to replace an equal number of Federal Reserve Notes. They can then return those FED notes by buying the U.S. Treasury Notes back from the FED with them. We could replace ALL FED notes with Treasury notes in ONE year! Just think about it: eliminate that part of the National Debt represented by the FED Reserve Notes in circulation (all of it?), eliminate a $400Billion annual interest expense and regain control of our economy AT THE SAME TIME! I've heard talk of injecting liquidity into the economy, there's a credit crunch, people and businesses can't get credit, the U.S. has a credit economy... isn't there a little too much credit involved here? I think we need to take away our government's credit card, close our FED account, and revert to a CASH economy.

Economists will tell us that it would cause runaway inflation if we did that, and they're right, it would if that was all we did. Changing to a cash economy would not be the cause of the inflation, though. The culprit there would be Fractional Reserve Banking which I'm going to refer to as FRB. To prevent inflation we would have to eliminate Fractional Reserve Banking. There would be tremendous advantages to all of us if we were to do that. There is an excellent document that was published by the Chicago Federal Reserve Bank and distributed for free. The document titled "Modern Money Mechanics" explains how Fractional Reserve Banking works, and it's an excellent scam. It's a bookkeeping trick which allows banks to lend the same money out a couple of dozen times, compounding the interest they make on it in the process.

So how do we convert to a cash economy without causing runaway inflation? That turns out to be pretty simple in concept too. First, we require banks to have 100% of their deposits on hand at any given time (100% reserve instead of 10%). They achieve that by exchanging Federal Reserve Notes for U.S. Treasury Notes. Second, we separate banking institutions from lending institutions. Banking institutions would not be able to make loans and lending institutions would not be able to conduct banking operations (accept deposits).

If banks could not make loans from their deposits and were required to have 100% of their deposits on hand at all times, a bank could never fail because of a "run on the bank". Also, depositors could never lose all their savings because the bank would be able to satisfy all requests for withdrawals at any time. Our economy would no longer go through "boom and bust" cycles characteristic of Fractional Reserve Banking. Prices and wages would stabilize. The amount of currency in circulation would increase gradually at approximately the population growth rate and it would take legislative action to increase it. Barring corruption in the Congress (which we really can't do) the economy would grow gradually and predictably.

You will have to read "Modern Money Mechanics" carefully - I had to read it several times - to fully understand what they are doing. In a nutshell, they have ten times as much money on their books as they have on deposit at any given time. I have it archived HERE if you can't find it. It's in Microsoft Word format (.doc). If you want to download it to your own computer and you're using Internet Explorer you can right-click on the link and click on "Save Target As..." then choose a folder to save it. If it wasn't 591KB long I would post it as an essay.

I SUGGEST that the FED, NAFTA, SPP, North American Community/Union, and Amero are ALL TIED TOGETHER! The links are tenuous right now, but too many things are happening that complement each other for all of them to be purely coincidental. Our economy and our society are being manipulated by men in positions of power in the interest of a "Global Economy". I'm all in favor of a global economy as long as we don't have to surrender our sovereignty as a nation to participate in it.

More later...

Anarchy Prevails!

I propose that the Rule of Law no longer exists in the United States and that a state of Anarchy prevails. In support of that I can point to several examples.

There are estimated to be 12 to 20 million people of various nationalities in the United States in open violation of U.S. immigration laws. They have no fear of the laws being enforced, witness the demonstrations of a thousand or more of them demanding the privileges of citizenship. Some of them use fraudulent identification to apply for jobs or government assistance for themselves and their families. Thousands of businesses employ them in violation of the law and some additionally harbor them (a felony on the first offense) or transport them (also a felony on the first offense). These by themselves are strongly indicative of a state of anarchy.

Now consider the Congress of the United States (both houses) and the Executive Department of the United States... by their lack of action to enforce the laws of the Unites States they have perjured their oath of office (a felony). They have sworn to uphold the laws of the United States and have failed to do so. They are complicit before the fact in every crime committed by a person who is inside the United States illegally because they failed to correct the conditions which allowed those illegal aliens to be present in the U.S. to commit those crimes. That is to say that the crimes committed by illegal aliens could not have happened if those illegal aliens were not in the U.S. to begin with. By the way, the maximum penalty for a U.S. citizen who harbors an illegal alien who subsequently causes the death of another U.S. citizen is imprisonment for any period up to life or the death penalty. It's about time we started holding our government officials accountable for their actions or lack of action. Our problem is that it is the responsibility of the Justice Department to investigate and prosecute such crimes, the Justice Department works for the President of the United States (through the Attorney General), and the President does not want those crimes prosecuted! He wants Border Patrol agents prosecuted for shooting an escaping illegal alien felon in the ass (who has just brought $1 million worth of drugs into the U.S.) though.

More to add, will come back later, RHB

E-Mail to Bill O'Reilly

Why bring up Obama's 'One World' (Economy) sympathies now? It's not like it's news, you know. Just like Bill and Hillary Clinton, George H.W. Bush, Condelezze Rice, Colin Powell, and oh, yes, let's not forget about George Soros and his contributions to John McCain's campaign (via Teresa Kerry's Tide(s?) Foundation). You know, the people who are members of the Council on Foreign Relations. Yes, the same CFR of which Newscorp is a corporate member.

Of course, you know all that... unless you're the dumbest person on television. The names of many of the CFR's members are available from their website, including corporate members like NBC (through parent corp), ABC, CNN (through parent corp), Fox News (through Newscorp), and many, MANY, others. The names of individuals not on the website are available for the asking.

Let's not even talk about the Trilateral Commission, and where it came from.

(signed)

You don't need a global government if you have a global economy. Those who control a global economy control all governments.

You don't need a conspiracy to control a global economy, the international corporations will do what's in their best interest and control the global economy to do it. What's in their best interest is a smoothly running profitable global economy.

Remove the plank from your own eyes before you try to remove the speck from mine.

I don't know why I even bother...

This is Amnesty:

The following is the section from the Comprehensive Immigration Reform Act of 2007 (Scamnesty) that implements amnesty:

S 1639 PCS 644

(8) TEMPORARY STAY OF REMOVAL AND WORK AUTHORIZATION FOR CERTAIN APPLICANTS.

(A) BEFORE APPLICATION PERIOD.- Beginning on the date of enactment of the AgJOBS Act of 2007, the Secretary shall provide that, in the case of an alien who is apprehended prior to the first date of the application period described in subsection (c)(1)(B) and who can establish a non-frivolous case of eligibility for a Z-A visa (but for the fact that the alien may not apply for such status until the beginning of such period), the alien-

(i) may not be removed; and

(ii) shall be granted authorization to engage in employment in the United States and be provided an employment authorized endorsement or other appropriate work permit for such purpose.

(B) DURING APPLICATION PERIOD.- The Secretary shall provide that, in the case of an alien who presents a non-frivolous application for Z-A visa during the application period described in subsection (c)(1)(B), including an alien who files such an application within 30 days of the alien's apprehension, and until a final determination on the application has been made in accordance with this section, the alien -

(i) may not be removed; and

(ii) shall be granted authorization to engage in employment in the United States and be provided an employment authorized endorsement or other appropriate work permit for such purpose.

I've reformatted it so it will wrap to the web page window but I haven't changed any of the wording. Boldface added for emphasis.

The above text is an amendment to United States Code Title 8 (available as a 505 page 2.41MB download), not a new law.

I consider the documentation requirements to support a non-frivolous application to be trivial and/or easily forged.

Once an illegal alien has a work permit (and a Social Security card, since they can't work without one) there is no way to ensure that they will ever return to pay fines or complete their application for permission to stay legally.

The government can't stop convicted felons from re-entering the country and committing more crimes now, there is no reason to believe they will be able to do so in the future.

Pro-Life

There may be as many different definitions of "Pro-Life" and "Pro-Choice" as there are people using one of those labels for themselves or others. Mine is just like anyone else's, unique and totally mine in spite of any resemblance to anyone else's. I do not seek to change, or even challenge, anyone else's beliefs but only to describe mine so that if, in the future, it comes up in discussion you'll know why I say what I do.

IMAO, both sperm and egg are alive prior to fertilization of an egg, but each contains only half the DNA required to define a human. The point of that is, that there is no point at which life begins - life is already there. AFTER fertilization, the egg contains all the DNA required, and is a human being. We recognize infancy, adolescence, and adulthood as stages of growth of a person, to not recognize the period of growth from fertilization of the egg to birth as a similar stage of growth is illogical at best. The egg may be part of the mother until she ovulates and releases it, but after that it is independent of her and can even be fertilized then implanted in a different woman and survive to birth. Also, to consider a baby part of the mother because it is Dependant on her is like considering a child part of the Department of Education if they qualify for free lunches at school. Tell me, does the mother's blood circulate in the fetus?

Having said all that, I do NOT think that issues like Pro-Life/Choice are within the domain of the Federal Government's delegated authority. In fact, I believe that those issues are specifically prohibited to the Federal Government in the First Amendment where it is prohibited from establishing a State Church and thereby a State definition of morality and/or religion. That's state in the sense that countries are states. I may expand on this at a later date and consider the term 'state' as one of the several states of the United States, but for now I'll close with a question. Why is it that if a woman decides to abort her pregnancy and the fetus/baby dies it isn't even a crime, but if someone kills her and consequently the fetus/baby dies the killer's punishment can be elevated from a prison sentence to the death penalty?
